The Cairo Criminal Court on Saturday sentenced 102 supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood and deposed president Mohamed Morsy to ten years in prison, also handing down a seven-year sentence for two others over charges of violence and rioting last July.
The defendants were found guilty of charges of assaulting private and public property, murdering a citizen and attempting to murder others at al-Dhaher district east of Cairo last July following Morsy’s overthrow.
