The US dollar exchange rate slightly rose against the Egyptian pound in the dealings of Egypt’s banking sector on Monday after last week’s increase of up to ten piastres.
According to the latest price updates, the dollar increased two piasters, recording LE 17.62 for purchase and LE 17.72 for sale in the National Bank of Egypt (NBE).
In Bank Misr, the dollar increased one piaster, recording LE 17.61 for purchase and LE 17.71 for sale.
In Alexandria Bank, the dollar increased two piaster, recording LE 17.65 for purchase and LE 17.75 for sale, while it rose one piaster in Bank al-Qaheria, recording LE 17.62 for purchase and LE 17.72 for sale.
In the Arab African International Bank (AAIB) and the National Bank of Greek (NBG), the dollar settled at LE 17.65 for purchase and LE 17.75 for sale.
In the Commercial International Bank (CIB) and al-Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK), the dollar stood at LE 17.66 for purchase and LE 17.76 for sale. In al-Baraka Bank, the dollar settled at LE 17.69 for purchase and LE 17.79 for sale.
In the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), the dollar recorded LE 17.68 for purchase and LE 17.78 for sale.
