Two policemen injured in Arish

Two policemen from the North Sinai security department were injured when an armored vehicle was targeted south of Arish city.
 
Sources and eyewitnesses said gunmen shot RPGs at the armored vehicle in the al-Obour district south of Arish, causing Ahmed Omran Hamed, 36, injury to his back, and Al-Sayyed Sameh Ali, 20, bruises to differents parts of his body.
 
The two men were transferred to the Arish public hospital for treatment and investigation authorities were notified.
 
The sources added that the vehicle was on its way policeman Shawqy Mohamed Abdel Hamid's house, which was set on fire early Tuesday morning. No one was injured in the fire, as the policeman and his family were outside Arish.
