North Sinai security services arrested a suicide bomber who was going to detonate himself at a security site.
A security source said the 18-year old suspect, who is currently being questioned by authorities, lives in Arish and was going to blast himself at a police and military site in the city.
Sinai has seen a rise in the presence of extremist groups and increasing attacks against police and army since the ouster of deposed President Mohamed Morsy.
