Prosecutors uncover “paid elements” at Republican House

Prosecutors inspecting the scene outside Republican Guard House following violence that killed 43 people early Monday have found a number of items which they claim incriminate protesters supporting former president, Mohamed Morsy.

The prosecution reportedly found firearms, ammunition, membership cards for the Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party, photocopies of ID cards, grenades as well as a list of names with sums of money next to each name.

The list appeared to suggest the presence of paid elements at the protests, they said.

Prosecutors sent the bullets recovered from the bodies of victims to forensics to determine the direction from which they were shot.
