The Egyptian armed forces received 25 missiles and 500 anti-aircraft shells on Wednesday after they were seized at a mountain area in al-Naqra Valley in Aswan.
Police authorities in Aswan had received a tip about the missiles and notified the military.
The case remains under investigation.
