A police officer in Sohag shot randomly inside the Al-Osairat police station on Thursday, apparently suffering a sudden lapse in mental health.
His colleagues managed to stop him from injuring anyone and took his weapon.
The Sohag Security Directorate is sending the officer to a medical committee to examine his mental condition.
