Four unidentified foreign tourists drowned on Friday evening while they were swimming in the Mediterranean at a beach in Marsa Matrouh, northeast Cairo.
Residents found three of the bodies, of two males and a female, while the fourth body remains missing.
The bodies of the deceased were transferred to the morgue of Matrouh General Hospital, they had no documents to prove their identity.
The Navy Rescue Unit was notified to recover the fourth body, while the prosecution investigates into the incident.
