FM in Tunisia to help stranded Egyptians

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry headed on Monday to the Tunisian capital to meet Tunisian Prime Minister Mehdi Jomaa and several other officials in an effort to facilitate the evacuation of Egyptians fleeing Libya via Tunisia’s Ras Jdir crossing.

Shoukry is expected to head to Djerba Airport to make sure the evacuation plan via the air bridge established by EgyptAir was going smoothly.

The minister will also make sure there is enough medical and food aid delivered by the military to Egyptians stranded at the border areas.
