Villagers in the Daqahlia province have confirmed the death of an Egyptian citizen in an attack by Houthis against a mosque in the Yemeni city of Sanaa.
Al-Sayyed Mohamed al-Kilany, 56, was a contractor who was killed when a suicide bomber detonated a bomb at the mosque while the victim was praying, according to villagers.
The victim was transferred to the hospital for treatment, but succumbed to his injuries when the shrapnel penetrated his abdomen.
Meanwhile, the family of the victim expressed their inability to reclaim the body and called on the government to intervene so they can bury him.
