Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed al-Assar met on Thursday with US Ambassador Stephen Beecroft to discuss the resumption of the production of tanks now that the components have been supplied to the designated factory.
Beecroft reiterated the United States’ support for Egypt's fight against terrorism.
Assar also met with Donald Schenk, vice chairman of General Dynamics, one of the largest manufactures of tanks and heavy industries. They discussed their shared experience in the development of heavy industries.
