Meteorologists expect cold weather to prevail on Monday across most of the country including northern Upper Egypt, with mild temperatures prevailing on southern Upper Egypt during the day and very cold temperatures at night.
Visibility will be low in the morning due to exessive mist throughout Lower Egypt, Cairo, and the Suez Canal cities.
Low- and medium-level clouds will appear over the northern regions with light rains. Winds are mostly northwesterly, moderately active on the Red Sea, disturbing navigation.
Waves on both the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea are expected to reach an average of 1.5-2 meters in height, with a northwesterly surface wind.
Maximum temperatures expected on Sunday are 16C in Cairo, Alexandria, and Matrouh, while Port Said will be 14C.
