Bomb disposal experts successfully defused a bomb found inside a pickup truck next to a school in Kafr al-Sheikh city, north Cairo on Thursday.
The local residents had reported a pickup truck suspiciously parked near Ibrahimiya private school, and that they suspected may contain explosives.
Explosives experts, fire trucks and ambulances immediately rushed to the scene. When inspecting the truck, a bomb was found inside its tank, set to explode as soon as the vehicle was operated. The bomb was deactivated by specialists.
Further investigations are being conducted into the case .
