Assiut Security Directorate has announced the maximum alert and set checkpoints in different parts of the city after unidentified assailants burned the private car of police officer Mohamed Tantawy.
Armored police vehicles roamed the city and opened the sirens to restore security on the streets.
The Muslim Brotherhood youths who had allegedly launched a campaign under the title of “We Will Terrorize You,” claimed responsibility for the incident.
