The Cairo International Airport authorities have on Tuesday seized $300,000 from an American passenger of Lebanese origin traveling to Lebanon.
The law allows passengers to carry $10,000 or the equivalent in another currency.
The airport security director canceled the passenger’s trip to take legal action against him.
