MB stages two protests in Alexandria urging referendum boycott

On Wednesday, supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood staged two protests east and west of Alexandria on the second day of the referendum to urge citizens to boycott the vote.

Police dispersed the first protest at al-Raml neighborhood, east of the governorate. Shots were fired into the air to disperse the protesters who were mainly female.

In al-Hanouveel area, west of the governorate, MB females staged a protest near some polling stations. They raised banners urging the referendum's boycott. 

Clashes between protesters and other citizens took place afterwards.
