Mohamed Abu Samra, secretary general of the Islamic Party that belongs to the Jihad Organization, said no Islamist dares to contest Sisi in the presidential elections.
“Anyone attempting such a thing would be betraying the martyrs,” he added.
He also said in a press statement on Friday that the organization withdrew from the National Alliance to Support Legitimacy, adding that the alliance failed to manage the crisis and became a burden on the revolution.
“It is a weak alliance that will collapse soon,” he said.
