Air Sina, a subsidiary of EgyptAir, on Sunday resumed flights between Cairo and Ben-Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv after a 10-day hiatus due to clashes between the Palestinians in Gaza and Israel.
Flight 054 took off with 36 passengers after reports about Israel intending to withdraw from the Gaza Strip.
Israeli air traffic has been adversely affected by the conflict with Hamas since the launch of Israel's military operation in Gaza in July.
More than 1,700 people have been killed in the Israeli aggression so far.
